DDOT#7- The Enormous Dell Mini 5

Our very first impression on this phone, like many others, was ‘Wow this thing is gigantic’. I started laughing at the the thought of me carrying this thing around. It reminded me of the skit from SNL with the phones. Anywho the outward appearance is goofy, but this could mean some great screen resolution and performance. DDOT#6- Google Listen 1.1 Update

Google’s android app “Listen” gets a well needed update. The newest version, 1.1, adds a plethora of new features along with some bug fixes. The new features include:

  • Subscriptions are stored by Google Reader in the “Listen Subscriptions” folder.
  • Subscribed feed items are fresh, no longer limited in size, and are available offline (and more quickly).
  • Screen “My listen items” shows queued and most recently subscribed item, with refresh button for subscriptions.
  • Subscriptions screen is a list of subscribed feeds instead of the most recent item in the feed.

DDOT#3- Openmoko improves WikiReader

OpenMoko has sold a lot more than expected of their $99 WikiReaders. These things seem like only a few would sell because of how limited their abilities are. There’s actually a big demand on these devices and improvements wanted for them. The company has just released its Spring 2010 update. This update adds the following features:

  • Math equations
  • Fluid scrolling
  • Enhanced navigation
  • Improved touchscreen keypad
  • Update is free of charge

DDOT#2- HTC Incredible Leaked Photos

Yesterday photos of the HTC “Incredible” were leaked onto the internet via the website pocketnow.com. This cellphone codename started a while back and now it seems to be the real deal. Theres even a video of this device, scroll down for the link.
